Hardwick Park

This series of images were produced for Hardwick Park in Durham.

Originally built in the 1750s by the owner John Burdon and designed by James Paines, a leading architect of the time. there are several ornamental buildings and features throughout the park, some still in good condition and others reduced to beautiful remains. The park recently underwent a restoration project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Durham County Council commissioned me to produce several images for the new visitors centre.

The images of insects, animals and plants are examples of some of the wildlife that inhabit the grounds and were reproduced at 6×6 ft square. Other images were produced for educational information throughout the park.
