I designed & painted 2 murals that formed part of an immersive entrance for the premiere of the new Netflix film Luther: The Fallen Sun at the IMAX in Waterloo for INCA Events.
I had amazing assistance with painting from Frankie Strand & together over 1.5 days we created 2 murals in one of the tunnels leading to the IMAX, one featuring the strap line from the film - “FEAR NO EVIL” & another with an abstract multi-mask-faced villain. The 2nd mural used transparent UV spray paint so the faces on the hooded villain only appeared under the glare of blacklight bulbs.
Additionally Trapped In Zone One absolutely filled the remaining space with tags, throw ups, deconstructed & overlaid pieces, using quotes & imagery from the film. It was amazing to see them slamming out so many layers it looked like Leake Street. Big up to Bablu, Alex Cullen Ders One & Woskerski
The immersive experience also included, sound, smoke machines, a rain wall & mock hooded villains walking around with digital masks on their faces.
